Wall Knights Wrestling Club Pre-Season

This has been a busy off season for Coaches and Wall Wrestling Booster Club members who have put an emphasis on fine tuning and improving the Wall Recreational Wrestling Program which has already proved to be a great program year after year. For starters, the program is undergoing a name change from Wall Rec Wrestling to the Wall Knights Wrestling Club. The Wall Knights Wrestling Club is currently in the process of pricing singlets and the goal is to have new sublimated singlets for all the club's wrestlers for the 2017-2018 wrestling season. The club has also built a new website which will allow for online registration, improved communication to club members, and a way to showcase all of its achievements in the years ahead.

In addition the club is getting in on social media as the Wall Knights Wrestling Club Organization Page on Facebook has been created for the purpose of club administrators making announcements pertaining to practices, matches, registration dates, etc. Also under works, the club is adding a Twitter Account, Flicker Account, Instagram Account, and a closed group on Facebook for our members where they can post all things wrestling and hopefully post lots of pictures of Wall Knights Wrestlers in action and earning medals.

The Wall Knights Wrestling Club will also be changing the practice format separating the ages in a different way than it has in the past. This years advanced group will be all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders as well as experienced 1st-5th Graders. Inexperienced K-5th Graders will be in the beginner/intermediate practice group. Wrestlers in the program will have more opportunities to compete in the upcoming season. The Wall Knights Wrestling Club JSJWL team will compete as they are scheduled as well as in tournaments. The non JSJWL wrestlers that are not on the JSJWL roster will have the chance to compete against other towns in the new DEVO or developmental program.

To sum it all up, this is an exciting time for The Wall Knights Wrestling Club and our coaches and administrators are very much looking forward to the upcoming season.
